Set of 6 Henry Alken comical, british tongue-in-cheek, fox hunting prints. Quite old. Purchased in England. Original frames, but newly matted. Each measures 14.5" x 16.5". Each titled Plate 1-6 and "Fore's Hunting Casualties". Black wooden frames with slight gold piping.

This original oil painting is a spectacular depiction of a mare and foal grazing in the field. Artist Signed and dated-Cresman 1986. The detail of the lights and shadows really make this artwork shine. The mares coat truly glistens in the sunlight. Comes in original wooden frame. Ready to hang on the wall. A great pair of reverse painted coaching artwork. Displayed beautifully in burl and eglomise frames. First painting shows coach with huntsman heading from London to Oxford. The second painting shows the ride home from Oxford to London. In excellent condition. Minor scratches to the frames. Colors vivid for a reverse painting of this age. These are probably from the 30's. Frame measures 18" by 13"...

Rare set of handcolored engravings from 1888. Artist Proofs, all original. Hand SIgned by each Huntsman. In original black wooden frames with gold edging. Newly re-matted. Moderate foxing, but color is still so vibrant. Each measures 19" x 22" tall. These are original engravings, NOT REPROS. This is a pre-1900, fine original oil by J.F. Herring. Overall with frame it measures 42” by 30”. The painting itself is 36” by 24”. It is fully signed J.F. Herring.

Head Study of a Corgi. Incredible work by listed artist Margery Torrey. Working from her ranch near Lander, Wyoming, she begins her sculptures in the outdoors where she can observe up-close the subjects of her wildlife sculptures. Her terra cotta and bronze sculptures begin as sketches and small clay models that she creates while observing the animals in their natural habitats. This study is a large 17" high x 11" wide...

Wonderful [Set of 4] 19th century English Fox Hunting oil paintings. A series showing the different phases in a day of hunting. Nice detail. Each is signed by the artist: F. Crooke. Finely carved, one of kind statue of Steeplechase legend, "Cottesmore". Winner of the Grand National in 1940 and 1942. Hand Carved of rosewood with the highest level of detail. Created in the 1940's in the USA by a German immigrant residing in the Ohio area. Excellent condition. Stands approximately 12" tall on original wooden base with felt backing. This is a true American treasure created with the highest level of German craftsmanship. Stunning piece.
